Our workflows are intuitive and goal-oriented, making tasks associated with email marketing quick and painless. Whether you're building an email, importing your contacts, or creating a sign up form for your website, Sentori guides you along the way.
Getting started
When you open a Sentori account we will help you to get it set-up to work the best way for you.
The getting started workflow takes you though:
- Uploading your company logo. We can then use this to customise a standard email template and show it on your reports. Reports from Sentori can then be used in internal meetings and emailed to colleagues with no further work on your part.
- Creating logins for colleagues. You can set-up user accounts which will allow colleagues full access or control what they can see and do.
- Automatically generating a web sign-up form. Start to extend your contacts list by encouraging people to opt-in to receive offers, information and news from your organisation.
- Setting up your mailing lists. Many organisations have a number of target groups that they need to communicate with. All this can be set-up in Sentori so that we can help you to manage your data and most importantly report on the performance of each Mailing List separately.
- Customising your selected template. If you are using one of the standard templates you will be able to set the colour scheme and other options to fully reflect your branding.
Uploading contact data
Whether you are loading data for the first time or adding to an existing Mailing List, Sentori workflow helps you through the process.
When you upload data into Sentori you may be adding it into an existing Mailing List or creating a special 'Audience' (which might be a list of contacts made at a networking event). Whatever you are doing Sentori workflow can help.
- Data pairing. This means matching the column headings used in your spreadsheet with the data names used in Sentori.
- Integrating the data. When you add in new contacts you can say which mailing list the new contacts will join. Perhaps they will become part of the General List or be added to a special list like 'Customers', 'Prospects', 'Staff'' or 'Stakeholders'.
Building your message
Sentori helps you though the process of creating and sending your email marketing messages.
However, you still have great flexibility to start to create a message, but should you be interrupted, come back and finish it latter. There are just 4 simple steps to create your email message, and Sentori workflow helps you at every stage.
- Create. You can make a new email from a template, by copying an existing email or by simply pasting in externally created HTML. When you have chosen the method, Sentori takes you though setting the subject line and sender information, and optionally you will have access the 'clever stuff'' which allows you to do more with the email such as integrate with website analytics.
- Edit the content. If you are working from a template or an old message then you will need to add the copy and images to your message. This could not be simpler. Sentori workflow will guide you through preparing your message.
- Testing the message. We cannot over stress the importance of testing your message and at this stage Sentori is available to help too. Proof reading the message is down to you but Sentori can perform a spam check and also make sure that the message displays (or renders) correctly in a variety of email clients.
- Send the message.That's it. All you have to do now is choose who the message should be set to (i.e. which mailing list or audience) and say on which day and at what time it should be sent.
